Transformative Career Insights: From Aviation to Life Coaching

What has been one of the most transformative experiences in your multifaceted career, spanning from aviation to education and corporate training, and how has it shaped your professional philosophy?

One of the most pivotal moments in my career was the courageous decision to step away from a lucrative position in the aviation sector. While this role was enticing, I came to the realization that it did not align with my true passion. My heart lies in forging human connections and assisting others in navigating their personal challenges. This epiphany propelled me toward the fields of life coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), where I uncovered my genuine calling—empowering individuals, especially youth, to conquer trauma and dismantle self-imposed limitations.

Can you elaborate on the process of integrating Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) into your corporate training programs and the impact it has had on your trainees?

In corporate environments, I employ a variety of NLP techniques, including reframing negative thoughts, anchoring positive emotions, and fostering rapport among team members. For instance, I encourage participants to view challenges as opportunities for growth, which cultivates a solution-oriented mindset. This shift not only enhances productivity but also fortifies their ability to withstand stress. I am committed to customizing each training program to align with the unique needs of the organization, ensuring that my team and I deliver relevant and impactful content.

How has your expertise in life coaching complemented your corporate training efforts, and can you provide a specific example of a successful outcome from this integration?

My background as an NLP practitioner and life coach allows me to transform how individuals perceive their experiences, communicate, and behave. By exploring the intricate connection between the mind, language, and behavior, I empower them to overcome limiting beliefs, enhance communication skills, and develop emotional intelligence. A standout success story involves a company struggling with low employee engagement. By adopting a “People Over Process” philosophy and fostering a safe, non-judgmental environment, we focused on personal growth and team dynamics. This approach led to a remarkable increase in productivity, climbing from 30% to an impressive 65%. This outcome illustrates the profound impact of prioritizing people and creating a supportive atmosphere.

Training Over 2,500 Employees at Dubai Mall Emaar: A Remarkable Achievement

Part 1: What strategies and methodologies did you employ to manage and execute such a large-scale training program effectively?

Executing a training program for over 2,500 employees at Dubai Mall Emaar within just eight weeks was no small feat. To navigate this challenge, my team and I implemented several strategic methodologies. We began by thoroughly understanding Emaar’s organizational culture, values, and the diverse backgrounds of their employees. I made it a point to communicate inclusively, utilizing every language I knew to foster clarity. The training sessions were designed to be interactive, value-driven, and engaging, seamlessly blending meaningful content with an enjoyable atmosphere. This collaborative effort created a dynamic learning experience that significantly enhanced the program’s overall success and impact. We are excited to share more about this journey on our social media platforms soon.

Part 2: How has this accomplishment influenced the growth and evolution of your business recently?

This experience has profoundly shaped the trajectory of my business, instilling immense fulfillment and pride for executing such a large-scale initiative in a condensed timeframe. Collaborating with a prestigious entity like Dubai Mall—EMAAR—not only expanded our reach but also elevated our reputation within the industry. It reaffirmed our commitment to making a positive impact and motivated us to continue striving for excellence. This accomplishment has fortified our confidence, enriched our expertise, and inspired us to seek even greater opportunities in the future.

How do you approach engaging and motivating diverse groups of employees in your training sessions, and can you share an example of a particularly successful engagement?

Engaging and motivating diverse groups requires a thoughtful and personalized approach that respects their unique backgrounds. During our recent project with Emaar, I had the privilege of training a global team comprising over 100 nationalities. I made a concerted effort to understand the cultural nuances and diverse needs of each participant. By incorporating interactive elements and tailoring the content to resonate with everyone, I was able to create a training environment that felt both inclusive and relevant.

Can you recount an experience where you had to confront and overcome a significant personal fear or challenge in your career, and what did you learn from that experience?

Reflecting on my experience with the Emaar project, I faced a significant personal challenge due to the sheer scale and tight deadlines involved. I vividly recall a moment of doubt just a day before the program began, worried that I had taken on too much. In that moment, my NLP training proved invaluable, allowing me to channel my energies into the confidence I needed to move forward. This experience taught me that challenges are a universal part of the human experience, and how we respond to them ultimately defines us.

Embracing the Roles of CEO, Trainer, and Life Coach

Balancing the roles of CEO, trainer, and life coach while managing family life requires effective stress management strategies. I practice mindfulness, yoga, and use task prioritization techniques to maintain my productivity and mental well-being. Regular reflection helps me align my goals, and sharing my vulnerabilities with loved ones keeps me grounded in reality.

What legacy do you hope to leave behind?

Considering the nature of our work at Auracious, I see an opportunity not only to impact organizations but also to touch individual lives deeply. This mission resonates with my initial motivation for transitioning from aviation to the field of human development. I aspire to equip individuals with authentic tools to navigate their emotions responsibly, live joyfully, and confront challenges with confidence. Ultimately, that is the legacy I hope to leave behind.

Who have been the key mentors or influencers in your life?

Throughout my life, I have encountered several mentors who have significantly influenced my journey. My first and foremost mentor has been my mother, whose resilience and ability to thrive in adversity have taught me invaluable lessons about grit. In my teenage years, Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi inspired me to travel fearlessly and embrace new knowledge with grace. Early in my career, I was fortunate to have Sarat Christopher Singh as a mentor, who guided me professionally and became a cherished friend. My yoga guru, Sumit Manav, has continually reminded me of the importance of breathing correctly, respecting my body, and staying connected to nature. Each stage of my life has been enriched by various individuals, and my gratitude extends to all of them. A significant contributor to my personal growth journey has been Robert Simic, who helped me heal and transformed my understanding of emotions, neurology, and consciousness. The foundation of my human development brand, Auracious Global, owes much to his guidance. My entrepreneurial journey of five years and counting would not have been possible without the support of these remarkable individuals, who have positively influenced my business growth and networking. My deepest gratitude also goes to my family for shaping me into the person I have become.

What advice would you offer to fresh graduates or newcomers starting their careers?

“Striving for academic and career excellence extends beyond mere destinations; it’s a perpetual journey fueled by passion, persistence, and an unyielding thirst for knowledge.” – Nowsheen Yaqoob. For newcomers embarking on their careers, I emphasize the importance of developing emotional intelligence, embracing change, and committing to lifelong learning. Understanding and managing your emotions will foster strong relationships and help you navigate challenges effectively. Approach change with curiosity, viewing it as an opportunity for growth. Lastly, dedicate yourself to ongoing learning and skill development to remain adaptable and relevant in your field. These principles will lay a solid foundation for a successful career.

What led you to start Auracious, and how does it align with your career vision?

Regardless of the industries I have worked in, my unwavering desire to help people authentically has been a constant throughout my two-decade career, particularly in the corporate realm. The COVID-19 pandemic illuminated the escalating anxiety and mental health challenges many faced, prompting a shift in my career trajectory. Having been raised by a single mother and navigating a challenging childhood, I empathized deeply with the stress and emotional turmoil many were experiencing. I recognized the urgent need for mindset training and emotional resilience, which led me to establish Auracious Global Consulting, a human development company focused on transforming human behavior and providing tools for personal and professional growth. Auracious was born from my own experiences and the necessity for internal transformation, and it continues to shape my approach to authentic, human-centered transformation.
