Saudi Arabia Facilitates Umrah Pilgrimages for UAE Residents
Saudi Arabia has recently announced a series of initiatives to simplify Umrah pilgrimages for UAE residents, led by Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
Enhanced Visa Options
One of the key developments is the introduction of a multi-entry e-visa for UAE residents, allowing them to perform Umrah and stay in the Kingdom for up to 90 days per year.
Improved Air Connectivity
Saudi Airlines and flynas Airlines are expanding their flight services to enhance connectivity between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. This includes increased flight frequencies and new routes to make travel more accessible and affordable for pilgrims.
Streamlined Travel Procedures
Efforts are underway to streamline travel procedures, such as enabling UAE expatriates to register their fingerprints before traveling to Saudi Arabia. This initiative aims to reduce waiting times at ports of entry and enhance the overall pilgrimage experience.
